SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – On a busy Saturday slate that was pushed back by a lengthy rain delay, the North Dakota softball team fell twice—first to UC Santa Barbara 11-3 in the afternoon game and then 8-0 to Cal Poly in a game that stretched into Sunday morning in the central time zone.
In game one, Ava Bradford of UCSB picked up the win to move to 1-0 while Lauren Feld dropped to 0-1 on the season. Against Cal Poly Sophia Ramuno (2-0) got the win while Camryn Lasota (0-2) took the loss for UND.
